Robin Playground renewal consultation went out from 10 October to 31 October 2022. From the feedback received, we found that option 1 was the most popular due to the potential quality and variety of play from choosing modular equipment. We also heard that there was a need for the park space next to the playground to be activated for meaningful play for all ages. Due to feedback, the team is in the process of engaging with local sports groups to install some equipment for public use.

We've developed a plan based on the feedback from the community. We heard from 51 individuals.

This playground is being renewed through our new process, and has been approved to be installed by the end of this year.

Consultation has now closed

Consultation on the Robin Playground play space upgrade has now closed. People were able to provide feedback from 10 October to 31 October.

We'll be sharing the design of the playground, based off what was chosen during consultation, in the coming months.

Robin Playground is an important part of the community that has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be refreshed with modern, fit for purpose play equipment.

The new play space will be in the same location as the current play space and will include an accessible picnic table and a path connecting the play space to the existing path through the park.

We would like your feedback on the two options below. Once we know which option the community prefers, we'll draw up a landscape plan and share it for consultation early in 2023.
