Swine Flu (Influenza A H1N1) Council Update

Current situation

All of the Council's buildings and facilities, including libraries, swimming pools, recreation centres, Christchurch Art Gallery and Our City are open at this stage.

The Christchurch City Council is working closely with the Canterbury District Health Board to reduce the risk of swine flu spreading through the community.

We are asking that if anyone has flu symptoms, or if they're in quarantine, to please not enter our buildings, including libraries or swimming pools, or events until they are feeling better. This will help reduce the risk of spreading the flu to other people.
