An action-packed musical, full of cheerleading, friendship, love and betrayal. Come support this incredibly talented cast of 16–22-year-old performers.
Inspired by the 2000s film, Bring It On the Musical focuses on the competitive world of cheerleading, taking audiences on a high-flying journey filled with the complexities of friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness. Written by a team of Tony award-winning creators, Bring It On features a book written by Jeff Whitty (Avenue Q), with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, In the Heights), and music by Tom Kitt (Next to Normal).
The story follows Campbell Davis, a young cheerleader who dreams of leading her squad to victory at a national competition. Suddenly she is mysteriously reassigned to another school where she knows hardly anyone and worse: they don’t have a cheerleading squad! Despite the challenges of fitting in at a new school, Campbell befriends the dance squad and helps them become a powerhouse competitor for the National Cheerleading Championships.
The TheatreWise season of Bring It On has an incredible creative team, with Jeremy Hinman as Director/Choreographer, Olly Humphries as Assistant Director/Choreographer, Catherine Hay as Vocal Director, and Gavin Hurley as Conductor. This is a show you do not want to miss!
