Casual First Date: An improvised comedy show
A fully improvised sketch comedy show, creating whole new universes where the strange and mundane get gleefully close.
Inspired by a one-word suggestion from the audience, your pals in Casual First Date assemble gloriously detailed worlds and characters at high speed from only the assorted lint, old tickets and loose change in the corners of their minds.
Since forming in Tāmaki Makaurau, CFD have brought improv joy to audiences across the motu, and you darlings in Ōtautahi have been some of our favourite, wildest and goofiest crowds.
If you love improv, but just wanna sit back and watch, the only audience participation is the optional yelling of one-word suggestions. Grab your strangest friend, or the friendliest stranger, and we'll see you there!
