Why |
Bradshaw Terrace is in poor condition and needs renewing. A plan for the road was originally approved in 2010 but delayed due to the earthquakes. Funding is now secured through CRAF (Christchurch Regeneration Acceleration Facility) which is a funding package from central government for transport projects. |
Where |

When |
4 March 2024 to late May 2024. Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm (weather/site condition dependent). |
Contact |
The contractor is Fulton Hogan. Phone 0800 762 334, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm or email cant.info@fultonhogan.com. After business hours, please feel free to call us if the matter is urgent. |
What are we doing?
We are reconstructing the road surface on Bradshaw Terrace including a safer turnaround area at the end of the cul-de-sac, along with the installation of new drainage, new kerb and channel and footpath upgrades. We will also be planting new street trees, installing a new garden on the inside bend at the end of the street and new replacement planting in the garden beds at the Straven Road intersection.
Please find key information about these improvements below:
Driveway access
Access to properties will be maintained. However, we may need to work in front of driveways from time to time. We will try to give you plenty notice of this. However, if you need to get into or out of your property and we are in the way, please just talk to one of our friendly staff and we will make sure you can use your driveway.
