Details

What are we doing?

We are reconstructing the road surface on Bradshaw Terrace including a safer turnaround area at the end of the cul-de-sac, along with the installation of new drainage, new kerb and channel and footpath upgrades. We will also be planting new street trees, installing a new garden on the inside bend at the end of the street and new replacement planting in the garden beds at the Straven Road intersection.

Please find key information about these improvements below:

  • There will be a number of traffic management layouts implemented while the work is completed.
  • These will be a variation of road closures, shoulder closures, lane drops and temporary parking removal.
  • We will communicate which of these specific changes are going to be implemented closer to the time.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times; you may need to be escorted so please speak to staff onsite.
  • Increased construction noise disturbance may be encountered but the contractor will endeavour to keep this to a minimum.
  • Please follow the directions provided by the onsite traffic management team at all times.
  • Please advise us via the contact information above if you have any specific property requirements e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, planned works.

Driveway access

Access to properties will be maintained. However, we may need to work in front of driveways from time to time. We will try to give you plenty notice of this. However, if you need to get into or out of your property and we are in the way, please just talk to one of our friendly staff and we will make sure you can use your driveway.
