In the past week we completed the installation of kerb and channels, road shoulder construction, new drainage sumps and installation of new traffic signals at the Kilmore Street and Colombo Street intersection.
This week we will start on the road resurfacing on Colombo Street between Salisbury Street and Kilmore Street. This has been scheduled to start on Monday 2 May 2022. This work will be completed during day time hours (approximately five days) and will involve a one way traffic system whilst the resurfacing work is being completed.
Work will also continue at the intersection of Kilmore Street and Colombo Street and include:
Work at the Colombo Street and Peterborough Street intersection will continue in early May. This will include the installation of new cycle stands and seats followed by the resealing of the footpath by Friday 6th May.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
