Why |
The drain timber lining is being renewed due to the collapsing of the existing structure, caused by the large trees along one side of the drain. These trees will be removed as part of the renewal project. |

Details
- Some large trees will be felled as part of the works, allowing for the effective renewal of this timber lined drain.
- Treleavens Drain will remain functional throughout the duration of the project.
- The lower section of the drain will be naturalised as part of renewal process, combined with additional landscape plantings and replacement trees along the alignment.
- Traffic management with be established during the tree removal process and then reduced following this activity, allowing for normal traffic flows in both directions.
- Public access to the Styx River at this site may be limited at times for the duration of this project.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
