Details
We will be installing new water and wastewater services within the Highfield Development area and along Hills Road. The new mains will improve reliability and allow for future growth in the network.
Hours of work will typically be, Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm, and Saturday 8am to 12pm (weather/site conditions dependent).
Water supply will be maintained throughout the project. A separate notice will be provided prior to any temporary shut-off required to connect new pipelines.
Temporary traffic management measures will be in place. These may include road closures, detour routes, speed restrictions, and pedestrian/cycle management. Please follow all posted signage and directions from onsite traffic controllers.
We are committed to minimising disruption and will remove traffic management as soon as it is safe to do so.
There may be times when on-street parking and property access are temporarily restricted. Where required, the contractor will door-knock to allow residents to move vehicles.
Construction activities may result in temporary increases in dust, noise, and vibration.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we complete these important works.
If you wish to apply to have a water main connection supplied to your property, a separate letter will be delivered shortly detailing the application process.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
