To repair minor erosion on the stopbank surface.

22 September 2025 to 4 October 2025. Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm (weather/site condition dependent).

Details

We are undertaking maintenance work on the stopbank on Owles Terrace due to minor erosion noted in a recent audit.  There is no risk to the stability of the stopbank.

 

These works will include scraping off loose material and replacing with compacted fill, with the finished surface being topsoil and grass.

Traffic Impacts (see site plan overleaf)

  •          One way only for traffic heading east along Owles Terrace
  •          Detour in place for traffic heading west along Collingwood Street

 

Additional Information

  •          Walking access along the stopbank will be closed for the duration of the work
  • Enviromental controls will be in place to prevent surface run-off to the road or river
