Details
We are doing repair works to the traffic signal pole cables and access points, as well as replacing damaged kerbs and footpaths.
These works are required to take place at night to minimise the impact on the high volume of traffic that passes through this intersection during the day.
The works include, but are not limited to:
- Concrete cutting
- Removal of ashpalt and waste materials
- Installation of duct extensions
- Pouring new kerbs
- Installation of new asphalt footpaths
Our contractors will do their utmost to complete the noisiest of the works early in the night to minimize the impact to residents in the area.
Traffic Impacts:
Detours
- Lane diversions will be in place. Please follow the signposted route and temporary lowered speed limit.
- Please allow extra travel time if you will be affected by the lane closures.
- Cyclists please follow the designated and sign posted routes.
Pedestrian access
- Pedestrian access will be available via marked routes with signs advising to please wait to be escorted on the south western and north eastern corners.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
