Details
Please find key information about these improvements below:
- There will be a traffic management layout implemented while the work is completed.
- One lane of traffic will be implemented from Carmen Road to Racecourse Road.
- There will be a variation of shoulder closures: lanes drops and temporary parking removal. We will communicate which of these specific changes are going to be implemented closer to the time.
- Pedestrian access will be always maintained. You may need to be escorted, so please speak to staff onsite.
- Increased construction noise disturbance may be encountered but the contractor will endeavour to keep this to a minimum.
- Please follow the directions always provided by the onsite traffic management team.
- Please advise us via the contact information above, if you have any specific property requirements e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, planned works. We will do our best to assist you.
Driveway access
Access to properties will be limited during the day especially when the excavation is in front of your property. Additionally, we may need to work in front of driveways from time to time. We will try to give you plenty of notice. However, if you need to into or out of your property and we are in the way, please just speak to one of our friendly staff and we will do our best to assist you.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
