Details

What are we doing?

We are reconstructing the road surface on Sefton Place including the installation of new stormwater pipes, new kerb and channel and footpath upgrades. We will also be installing new line markings and tactile pavers once the road reconstruction is complete.

Traffic impacts

From Monday, 14 April 2025, Sefton Place will be closed between 8am to 4.30pm each day.  We ask you to please park on a street nearby (see below for more information) if you need to use your vehicle during this time.  We will need to remove on-street parking, so we will place no parking signage out before we start work.  Emergency vehicle access will be provided if required.

Our friendly staff will help people get around our site and assist with any queries.  Please continue to place your bins on the berms outside your property the night prior to collections, we will coordinate collection with Waste Management directly.

Please be on the lookout for changes in traffic management and follow the signs.  The speed limit around our work site is 30kph so we can keep our workers safe.

We know this work is disruptive, so we appreciate your patience and understanding.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Resident parking

Due to the daily closure of Sefton Place, we have had on-street parking on Wychbury Street (between 70 Wychbury Street and Barrington Street) approved for the residents.

Please display the permit that will be provided on the dashboard of your car, which will provide an exemption from compliance.  If you require more than two permits, please contact us on the email address provided.

Please send your number plate (e.g. ABC123) to cant.info@fultnhogan.com
