Worcester Street and Wyon Street - way safer intersections in Linwood

What

We’re making pedestrian safety upgrades around schools in Linwood to make it way safer for our young people to get to and from school. These upgrades will involve the installation of pedestrian refuge islands with speed humps and enhancing existing pedestrian crossings.

Why

These pedestrian safety upgrades will provide more opportunities for young people and their whānau to cross the road safely. When we focus on improving pedestrian safety, we help people feel way safer when walking, scootering or biking to and from school.
