Castle Rock track

A fun track to ride as you pick your way through lava boulders. A good step up if you've only been riding smooth single tracks like the Bowenvale Traverse track.

Track classification: Grade 4, advanced. Steep, narrow, poor traction, and difficult to avoid obstacles. Exposed on the outside edge.

Start: Top of Castle Rock scenic reserve.

Finish: Bridle Path car park.

Access: Head up Mt Pleasant Road to Summit Road. Alternatively, bike up the Bridle Path Track.

Signage: Well signposted at both ends of the track.

Description: A tight dog leg turn on Summit Road indicates the top of the reserve. There is a small pull-off area off Summit Road.

Start on a single track that traverses east below Summit Road. The track switches back on itself a few times before a final traverse to the top of the Bridle Path and Summit Road.
