The last Thursday of each month finds the XCHCH residents hosting a night of open studios, a mini night market of local artists and creators, paired with an exhibition, a performance, a talk.

This month, alongside the open studios we have various sections of the evening.

  • 7pm – Doors open
  • 7.30pm to 8pm – Performance | OJ will be showcasing her body of work, Earthling System, which weaves together mediums of sound, light and movement of the human form, building an immersive and experimental performance that will reveal itself as both an electric and grounding experience. 
  • 8pm to late – Visual Menagerie | With some great new styles and techniques coming out of the digital/projection/VJ industry, we are thrilled to showcase some of Otautahi's established and upcoming artists.
