Share Kai and Kōrero Riccarton

Join us to connect with others over tasty food and share in the cultures and cuisines of communities that call Ōtautahi home.

Try beloved and traditional kai from the diverse communities that call Ōtautahi home, including Pakistani, Nepali, Afghan and Eritrean cuisines.

Not only is tasty, healthy kai on the menu at Share Kai and Kōrero, but there's also the invitation to have a chat with others around the table with conversation nudges: What's your go-to comfort food? Who taught you to cook? And what’s your most memorable meal?

Share Kai is about creating spaces where we can come together and connect meaningfully over a meal. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free-friendly and halal meat options are available.

All proceeds from Share Kai events are kept by the refugee and migrant background women involved in our Share Kai Cooks Collective.
