Join us for an annotated film evening journeying back through Ōtautahi Christchurch's nuclear-free movement.
Through film and discussion, we will explore how two important milestones, Christchurch as New Zealand's first Peace City and New Zealand as a Nuclear Free nation for over 30 years, were achieved.
The role of Cantabrians in these achievements will be highlighted and we will revisit why these issues are important for us in the present day.
A collaboration between Disarmament and Security Centre (DSC) and UCDisarm (Campus Club), the event takes place in the Undercroft Building 101, Puaka-James Hight Building.
