AJ Fitzwater and Joanna Orwin‘s recent novels are rooted in New Zealand history.

Fitzwater’s No Man’s Land introduces us to the land girls of the Second World War with a supernatural twist, while Orwin’s Shifting Currents follows two pioneer women making a new life in the kauri forests of the far north in 1853.

They are joined for readings by winners of the New Zealand Heritage Literary Awards.
