Becoming Vegan: Potluck and film night

All are welcome to join us for a vegan potluck and screening of short documentary Becoming Vegan.

Becoming Vegan is a short documentary about the lifestyles of vegans. It follows Rachael Lowes' experiment of following a vegan diet for two weeks, offering insight into what it's like to go from being a meat-eater, to a vegan. Nostalgic for some, topical for others perhaps.

This 25-minute, child-friendly documentary explores what it’s like to go ‘cold tofurky’ overnight, with the sudden realisation of how many animal products are present in the supermarket aisles.

Everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring a friend.

Cost: $3 towards room hire (kids free) - if $3 is too much for you, please contact us and we will sort it. We want everyone to be able to come.

Parking: Free off-street car parking is available in the church car park or on street.

Bring: A vegan dish, either savoury or sweet. (There are kitchen facilities for reheating/cooking).

Children: There will be board games in the foyer for children while the talk is on.

Bring a game if you have one you want to play or join in with our games.
