Addington Heritage Evening

Joins us for an evening of local history, music and conversation.

We will gather at St Mary's Church, Addington for presentations from a range of speakers.

Topics will include:

  • The centenary of the construction of the St Mary's Church World War I Memorial Lychgate.
  • John Newman will speak about his time as a radio announcer with special emphasis on earlier recording/announcing methods.
  • Gareth Wright  will present The Lost Cemeteries of St. Joseph's.
  • Well-known musician Al Park will bring some of Bob Dylan's music to us.

The evening will finish with traditional iced buns, coffee, tea and conversation. Doors open at 6.15pm.
