Proposed Temporary Road Closures

The Council has received applications for the temporary closures of the following roads, for the following events, on the dates and times shown below.

Between Waltham Road and 32m south of the southern boundary of 271 Fifield Terrace

Aynsley Terrace

Between Garlands Road and 77 Aynsley Terrace

Grange Street

Between Aynsley Terrace and SH73 Opawa Road

Port Hills Road

At the intersection of SH73 Opawa Road

Martindales Road

Between Port Hills Road and Truscotts Road

From 7.00am to 6.00pm Sunday 22 March 2020

Between Rolleston Avenue and Montreal Street

Proposed Periods of Closures

From 9.20am to 9.30am and from 1.20pm to 1.30pm Tuesday, 7 April 2020

And from 9.20am to 9.30am Thursday, 9 April 2020.

 

 

These closures are proposed to be made under paragraph 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974. The proposed closures will apply to all vehicular traffic with the exception of emergency service vehicles, and vehicles directly involved with the events.

No resident access will be available during the period of these proposed closures.

 

Any person who wishes to object to the proposed closure may do so in writing to the Council Secretary, Christchurch City Council, PO Box 73016, Christchurch, no later than 9.00am Tuesday 10 March 2020.
