Learning experiences outside the classroom (LEOTC) programmes for schools. These free environmental and city infrastructure programmes provide relevant and authentic learning experiences through hands-on activities.
These experiential and interactive programmes encourage students to be immersed in the unique environments.
Learning areas covered are, conservation of water, ecosystems, sustainability of resources, organic waste cycle, biodiversity, impacts of pests, geology, outdoor survival, waste management and native trees and plants.
Teachers are encouraged to use cameras and tablets to record any findings however we ask that the delivery of the lesson by Environmental Teachers and Rangers is not digitally recorded.
