Register your interest for participation in Children's Day 2021.

Sunday 7 March 2021, 11am to 3pm at the Green Space, corner of New Brighton Road and Locksley Ave.

Children's day

We would like to invite your organisation/group/school to participate in this event with the option to:

  • perform on the main stage, or
  • provide roaming entertainment/performances, or
  • promote your organisation/group/school through displays, demonstrations, sports and games.

Covid-19 Alert Levels

In light of us possibly moving in and out of Covid-19 Alert Levels, the Children’s Day committee are constantly planning how we deliver this event to the Christchurch community whilst keeping everyone safe:

  • Alert Level 1 will be run at Red Zone event site – as there are no restrictions on numbers at gatherings.
  • Alert Level 2 will be run at various sites around the city – bookings will be required to ensure we do not exceed restrictions on numbers at gatherings.
  • Level 3 and 4 will use online options.

Please submit your registration of interest by Monday 21 December 2020.

This year spaces will be limited so get your registration in early to ensure a space.

Which best describes your organisation?
If we go into Covid-9 Alert Level 2, could you host a smaller event (100 people max at any time) at your premises?

Craft / Activity / Info stall (theme Super heroes)

I am aware we must provide a free interactive activity for children and their families to take part in.

Please note: Only not-for-profit groups may run a stall and they must have a children/family focus. If you are fundraising there is a $15 or 5% charge of takings (whichever is the lowest) for all stalls fundraising.

If we go into Covid-19 Alert Level 3 or 4, I can provide a video of my free activity to show on the Children’s day Facebook page
