We will be hosting a supervising arborist workshop on the morning of 12 April at the Ilex cafe function room within the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

The workshop will be delivered by Dr Andrew Benson and will cover what is required from an arborist monitoring construction works around trees.

In order to become a listed supervising arborist on the Council website, you must meet the requirements of a works arborist and attend this workshop – along with passing the test given at the end of the workshop.

The workshop will run from 8am to 12noon and costs $250 per person.

Numbers for the workshop will be limited to 25. Morning tea will be provided.
