Details
Christchurch City Council has contracted City Care Limited to undertake works at Spreydon Water Supply Pump Station at 85 Lyttelton Street. The works involved include:
- Drilling of one new bore
- Decommissioning of two older wells
- Installation of new underground services, and;
- Electrical and mechanical works
Please be aware of the following hazards:
- Construction equipment and workers onsite
- Construction equipment moving into and out of the work site
- Drilling operation will create noise. We aim to minimise noise as much as possible
- Physical works in the vicinity of 85 Lyttelton Street
There will be traffic management outside of the site, and a no-parking area outside 85 Lyttelton Street. There is no scheduled road closures or disruption to access of property.

Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
