What	Repairs and installing a new lining to wastewater pipes in your street.
Why	The existing pipes have reached the end of their useful life.
Where	Dundee Place / Lyttelton Street, Spreydon.
When	This work is part of a programme of repairs that will run from October 2021 to June 2022. Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm (weather/site condition dependent). Further notices will be issued before works commence at each site.

Most of the pipe renewal on this job will be done using trenchless methodology. A liner can be installed into the pipe to renew it without digging up the street. Some pipes will require excavation to carry out localised repairs prior to installing the new liner.
The pipes will be cleaned then inspected with CCTV. Decisions on any pre-repairs are made and repairs done if required. Then the liner is installed in to the existing pipe through the existing access manholes.
Some works my need to be undertaken at night when sewer flows are lower. Notice will be provided to residents if that is required.
Traffic management will be in place to enable the crews to work safely.
Wastewater flows from your property will be maintained throughout the works.

Noise

There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.

Bins

Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
