Details
- This existing footpath from Victoria Lake to the Events Area will closed to the public during the construction activities.
- The public will directed to use an alternative route to bypass the site or use other existing paths within the park throughout duration of this project.
- Temporary site fencing and signs will be in place to help direct pedestrians around the site.
- There will be heavy machinery operating at this time with construction plant and vehicle movements taking place during the day
- There may be increased noise and dust during these works.
- Construction vehicles will be accessing the site from two locations during the construction period. One via the Armagh St Bridge entering/exiting through the event area of North Hagley Park with the second point entering/exiting the site from Harper Ave.
- Safe pedestrian crossing points will be located at intersecting path connections related to the work site.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
