Hours of work

Work will be completed between 7am to 6pm (Monday to Saturday).
Impacts on traffic

Temporary Traffic management will be in place alongside the work area on King Edward Terrace.

King Edward Terrace will be reduced to 1 lane past the work site and temporary Stop / Go traffic management will be implemented.

Cyclists will be merged with the traffic lanes. Please drive with care.

Speed will be reduced to 30km/h through the work area.

Pedestrian access to footpaths will be maintained at all times with detours in place and pedestrians directed to safe road crossing points. Please follow signage.
Impacts of work

There will be increased noise, and vibration from the use of machinery for activities, hydro excavation.

On-street parking will be affected where we are working.

We need fine weather for the guard rail installation aspect of this project. Work may be delayed in the event of wet weather.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
