Details
We are building a cycleway on Truscotts Rd, Vaila Place and SH74, and completing water pipe upgrades, street light installation and kerb and channel works as we go.
Traffic Impacts
- There will be traffic impacts whilst the work is completed. These will be a variation of road closures, one way, shoulder closures, lane drops and temporary parking removal. When these changes are approaching these will be communicated in more detail closer to the time. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
- There may be times when vehicle access to your property is restricted. This will be temporary, and we will communicate beforehand so you can remove your vehicles is necessary.
- There will be construction noise as the work is completed but this will be kept to a minimum.
- The timing of the work is dependent on weather and road conditions so we will provide regular updates during construction.
The project has been split into three zones (as pictured above). Work will be undertaken simultaneously in each zone.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
