We are renewing the remaining section of gritted path along the Woodlands Hospital Walkway to continue on from the completed Stage 1 asphalt section, improving the pedestrian and shared access along this section of the walkway within the Botanical Gardens. |

Details
- Sections of this existing footpath will be closed to the public during the construction activities.
- Temporary footpath access will be put in place during this construction period, which the public will be directed to use throughout the duration of this project.
- Temporary site fencing and signs will be in place to help direct the public around the site.
- Spotters will be on site to safely assist pedestrians around the construction zone during this time.
- There will be heavy machinery operating at this time with construction plant and vehicle movements taking place during the day.
- There may be increased noise and dust during these works.
- The pedestrian bridge crossing over the Avon River will remain open throughout the duration of the works, however there may be disruptions here from time to time.
- The public toilets will remain open throughout the duration of this project .
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
