Shag Rock Reserve

Deans HeadGeotechnical risk mitigation work have now been completed at Shag Rock Reserve and the shipping containers that were protecting the road have been removed.

The road will return to its previous layout and this will improve safety for cyclists and drivers.

Temporary fences have been installed to prevent people accessing the hazardous area beyond the bund. These will be replaced by permanent fencing, which is currently being installed.

Construction of a new sewer main and permanent road repairs are planned to start in April 2017.
