Charges

Charges for mobility parks vary between on and off street parking. A mobility card must be displayed at all times. For on-street mobility parking, concessions apply in P30 to P60 metered parking spaces (except for unmetered parking locations where no restrictions apply). For off-street mobility parking, concessions apply in metered P60 spaces.


Concessions available with a mobility permit

Mobility parking time limits and meters – concessions. P30 - permitted to park an additional 30 minutes. P60 - permitted to park an additional 60 minutes. There are no concessions for restrictions under 30 minutes, e.g., P5, P10, P15 or over 60 minutes, e.g., P120, P180.


Overseas permits

Overseas mobility parking permits are honoured by Christchurch City Council. If touring, please check with other local councils as to their specific concessions.


Dispute a parking ticket

If you have a mobility permit and have received a parking ticket, you can explain the circumstances in writing to the Council’s Inspections & Enforcement Unit. They will consider your circumstances and let you know the result.
