Seafield Park Seafield Park is approximately 70 hectares and extends between the townships of Brooklands and Spencerville and alongside the western edge of Brooklands Lagoon/Te Riu o Te Aika Kawa.

The park complements the ecological values of Brooklands Lagoon/Te Riu o Te Aika Kawa and provides its own unique recreational experiences.

The key management issues at Seafield Park include its:

  • division by roads
  • tenure of the western estuary margin
  • access and car parking
  • recreation
  • vegetation
  • protection of wildlife and habitat
  • planning for cultural/ heritage values.
