Public pick hydroslide colour scheme

Your votes have been counted and the choice has been made - Jellie Park's replacement indoor hydroslide will be coloured blue and green.
More than 400 people voted for blue and green colour combo during a quickfire round of voting on the colour scheme last week.
The two other options - a blue and yellow option reflecting a bright summer day at the beach and a blue and orange options - received 152 and 127 votes respectively.
The replacement hydroslide is the most visible element of the upgrades and earthquake repairs that are getting underway later this year at Jellie Park and Pioneer Recreation and Sport Centre.
The work will be carried out in stages over the next two years, and both facilities will remain open to the public throughout. Although some areas within the facilities will be closed in stages to allow the work to take place, everything will be scheduled to keep disruption to a minimum.
