Consultation opens on Redcliffs land swap

Public consultation has opened on the proposed Redcliffs land swap.

The Ministry of Education has proposed swapping the Redcliffs School site for Redcliffs Park.

The swap has been proposed by the Ministry of Education.

It wants to exchange the Redcliffs Primary School site it owns in Main Rd for Christchurch City Council-owned Redcliffs Park.

Last October the Education Ministry announced Redcliffs Primary School would not on re-open on its Main Rd site and would instead move to a new location.

The new location favoured by the Ministry is Redcliffs Park.

The public have until June 26 to have their say on the proposed land swap.
