My principal place of residence is in the Harewood Ward area. I am also standing for the Harewood Ward of the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board.

I am excited by the opportunity to become a vocal, outgoing advocate for our community around the council table.
My experience running a small business and in customer relations roles has taught me the importance of listening to people and that every dollar counts.
Our council requires multiple improvements but I believe the priorities should be ensuring we have clean chlorine-free drinking water and improvements to the transparency and efficiency of our council.
At a local level I want to empower our community to deliver improvements to Bishopdale Mall and solutions to long term traffic and safety issues.
Together with my fellow People's Choice Candidates we want to strengthen our democracy by having better engagement with the community over the issues that impact them.

My principal place of residence is in the Harewood Ward area. I am also standing for the Harewood Ward of the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board and the Canterbury District Health Board.

I am Aaron Keown, your councillor for the Harewood ward, and I represent you on the CDHB. I am proud to say I'm the chair of the CCC Disabilities Working Group. I am married with three children and we live here in the ward. I also own a small business that employs a handful of people and helps with growing the Event & Tourism industry in Christchurch.
I have met many of you in my time as an elected member as I'm always contactable and I do my best to get good outcomes for our ward and the hard working rate payers that live here. My voting record shows I've been true to my word on a number of issues (traffic lights, rates, chlorine) and will speak up when something isn't right. I'm outcome focused and constantly look for the best value for your money.

Northwest Christchurch is the best place in Christchurch to retire or raise a family. That is why my husband and I love living here with our son.
As a new mother and banker at Westpac, I want to keep working to put our rates to good use and ensure they aren't wasted.
We make a big contribution to rates from Harewood, and we want that to make our community safer and healthier. That means, keeping our street and parks maintained, and ensuring our roads and utilities are working properly.
In my first term on the community board, I have gained the experience, knowledge and confidence to contribute even further for Harewood.
We must focus on giving future generations a safer and healthier future, while looking after older generations who have worked hard and deserve the best lifestyle we can achieve here in Northwest Christchurch.

Harewood is a very diverse ward and the best place in Christchurch to live. As a new father, I am stepping up to do my bit helping North West Christchurch to stay a great place for families to grow. My parents taught me when you play sports or participate in community groups, when you're able to it's your turn to give back.
I am running in Harewood because I love our neighbourhood and want to give back so my kid's generation has the same opportunities we have living here. That requires a strong voice that works well with others to solve infrastructure issues, improve park maintenance and address traffic issues.
Using my experience as a Chartered Accountant and perspective gained as a new parent, I offer you a representative that is competent and invested in the best outcomes for our community.
