Marble Wood Drive - Parking proposal

Marble Wood Drive is a cul-de-sac which has unrestricted on-street parking. During the week the street is fully parked for most of the day.

We have received a number of concerns in relation to this, causing the following issues:

• Availability of parking for both residents of the street and visitors to WesleyCare
• Safety concerns related to the density of parking within a narrow street, making the street one-way with little space for passing vehicles

Changes proposed

We are seeking your feedback on the following proposed changes to address these concerns:

• Install three areas of P120 (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday)
• Three new no stopping areas for safety

Timeframes

Following this consultation, a report will be presented to the Papanui-Innes Community Board with the feedback received and a staff recommendation.

All submitters will be advised of the consultation outcome, staff recommendation and Community Board meeting details.

If this plan is approved it is anticipated the changes will be implemented before the end of the year.
