This is an application for written consent to move stock along a road that is part of a city, town or settlement, or along a road that has a high volume of traffic, under clause 6(5) of the Christchurch City Council Stock Control Bylaw 2008.
Before you fill in your details below, please refer to the Guide to Stock Control Bylaw for more information on this permit, including what is required and why. If you are still not sure whether or not you need a permit, please contact the Council’s Animal Management Team.
Once you have submitted your application, Council staff will consider it. Staff may require you to supply further information, and may want to discuss the application and potential consent with you. A site visit may also be required.
The consent may be subject to terms and conditions which the Council determines are appropriate in the circumstances.
You will be advised in writing whether or not your consent application has been successful.
If your application is refused, you will be advised in writing of the reason for the refusal.
