More Port Hills tracks are opening. Some tracks remain temporarily closed and others are only partially open.
As tracks become accessible to the public we will continue to update these pages.
The Christchurch 360 Trail is divided into eight legs, each averaging about 17 kilometres long. A map board is at the start and finish of each leg. The trail's logo and arrows are the route markers both in parks and on city streets.
One section of the trail (from McLeans Forest to Avonhead Park) is not yet open as there is no walking infrastructure at present.
The trail highlights many of the city's natural features from the beach, estuary, Port Hills, waterways and tree-lined streets. Detailed descriptions of the route and its features can be found on the Christchurch 360 trail website (external link)along with downloadable maps of each leg.
