All parks and tracks are open under alert level 2. To help keep everyone well, please continue to maintain a 2 metre distance from other people when you’re out and about and please wash your hands before and after using equipment in our parks and gardens.
Our sports fields will gradually reopen over several weeks as line markings and posts are put back across all 322 fields. Organised training and games on sports fields will resume as sports clubs complete Alert Level 2 planning around contact tracing, additional hygiene practices and physical distancing.
We’ll be updating our Covid-19 webpage to include information about accessing and making bookings for our recreation and sport facilities under Alert Level 2. Please check back soon.
