If you’d rather stay dry, we have group fitness classes in the Weka room.
The facility is exclusive for women every Wednesday from 3pm to 9.30pm to encourage all women and girls to feel more confident in our pools. Windows will be covered for privacy. Learn more.

Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool offers everything from family fun, manu pool, lane swimming and Womens Wednesdays sessions(external link) in the well-equipped indoor pools as well as a multi-purpose room.
Wi-Fi is available while you are at Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool. Talk to customer services at the centre for details.
Free onsite car parking is available at Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool, we have four mobility car parks available.
To increase your fitness, bike to Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool. There are free bike stands available. Make sure you have your own bike lock to secure your bike.
Lockers are available in the pool area for use.
The Weka room is a multi-purpose room that is available for hire at Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool when classes are not being held. The room can be used for many activities such as community meetings, birthday parties or other recreational activities. Bookings are required.
The Bob Todd room is a small meeting room which is located next to the Weka room and is also available for hire. The room is fitted with a flat-screen TV, whiteboard and seating for up to nine people. Bookings are required.

At least two lanes are usually available for general swimming, including for Aqua Fit classes and Swimsmart lessons. Class and lesson times can vary from term to term. Contact us on 03 941 8999 to check pool availability.
At Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool, we offer loads of fun in our indoor pools and swimming lessons for all ages. From babies to adult learners, we help you make the most of the water throughout the year.
Children aged 5 to 10 years (inclusive) are required to complete a deep water swim test before using the deep end of the main pool or the manu pool.
All pools have entry ramps for wheelchairs. The spa is also wheelchair accessible. Wet wheelchairs are available at the pool, please ask one of our friendly lifeguards.

A recreational programme for those over 60 who want to be active and socialise together at Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool.

The inflatable obstacle course will be in the pool on Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 3pm. Please check our pool status(external link) page before you come.
Inflatable obstacle course users between the age of five and 10 years old (inclusive) are required to complete a deep water swim test before going on the inflatable. Children under eight need to be supervised by a responsible caregiver over 16 years old.
We offer swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. As well as the Swimsmart programme, private lessons can be arranged.
Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool has a six-lane pool. Depending on availability and demand at Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool, lanes will be allocated to aqua jogging, lane swimming and leisure activities. When there are deep lanes available at off-peak times, there will be a minimum of one lane dedicated to aqua jogging.
