Place your flexi or fixed payment membership on hold twice over a twelve-month period for a minimum period of two weeks and a maximum period of three months.

Swimsmart flexi members may place their membership on hold for a period of between two and four weeks. Swimsmart fixed members may only place their membership on hold for medical reasons.

  • On your reactivation date, or after three months, your membership will automatically reactivate and payments will resume.
  • We reserve the right to alter your reactivation date if more than three months is chosen.

  • If you are freezing for medical reasons a medical certificate must be provided and the freeze period will be the dates stated on the medical certificate. 
  • You may not freeze a fixed SwimSmart membership except for medical reasons. Reactivation date - maximum 4 weeks from freeze date.

  • You cannot freeze your membership retrospectively.
  • Council reserves the right to alter the freeze date if less than five days is chosen or if a reactivation date of more than three months is chosen or four weeks for Swimsmart memberships
  • You must give five days notice for any change to the specified reactivation date.
  • On your specified reactivation date, or after three months, your membership will be automatically reactivated and payments will resume
  • Flexi members approve the Council amending the Direct Debit payment prior to the reactivation date for the balance of the days between the reactivation and the following payment date..
