As part of our summer season, we're hosting manu competitions at our pools. Six heats will be held at our pools across the city ahead of the grand final in April at Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool. 

Who will be crowned the Christchurch City Council Manu Champion of 2022?

Head down to Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool on Friday 29 April 6pm to 8pm to find out.

Will it be you? Enter on the day to go up against our semi-final winners.

We have four categories:

  • Under 13s
  • 13 to 18 years
  • Open female and adult

The top three queens or kings of the manu will be awarded an official trophy, t-shirt and prizes.

Prizes

  • 1st prize – a three-month pool membership (that’s a lot of manus!)
  • 2nd prize – a one-month pool membership
  • 3rd prize – a ten-visit pool pass

We have spot prizes to give out on the day too: ice creams, pool passes and hydroslide passes.
