As you descend on Titoki Track from the junction with South Boundary, the track zig-zags steeply through regenerating bush. The descent evens out as you enter a bush covered gully. Follow the watercourse down through a pocket of Fuchsia forest (Kōtukutuku), past the junction with Ngaio Track and out to Bay Heights. From here follow the road down Ernest Adams Drive and turn left onto the main road into Governors Bay where you can rest and enjoy the various refreshment options available. The tracks in Ohinetahi are managed by the Summit Road Society(external link). You can find maps and more information about the area on their website. |
