Find out more about which parks have BBQs and bookable sites and where they are located.
For a simple gathering like a picnic you can make a booking with us that will give you first priority use of a particular site.
A number of parks also have fixed BBQs near bookable sites. While the BBQs cannot be booked, you can reserve the picnic space nearby. Simply use the BBQ when it's available then leave it clean and tidy for others to use after you.
The BBQs are free and work by electric ignition; push the start button for 15 seconds to operate. You can also take your own gas BBQ to any park except the Botanic Gardens and Mona Vale. Only gas BBQs are permitted, due to the risk of fires.
To help you choose a site, use the table below for more information on the location of BBQs and bookable spaces at some of our popular parks. Many other parks also have bookable sites so if your preferred park is not listed here, contact us to check availability.
