What |
We will be sealing the end of Riley Crescent as part of reinstatement following the dredging work. |
---|---|
Why |
The road is to be sealed following removal of the unhealthy white poplar tree from the turning head and now that access for river dredging is no longer required. A footpath will be extended around the end. |
Where |
62 Riley Crescent. |
When |
Work will start Tuesday 11 June 2019 until 31 July 2019. |
Contact |
The contractor is City Care Limited. Phone 027 215 2224 between 7.00am and 7.00pm. Advise us if you have specific property access requirements e.g medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, planned works. |
The end of Riley Crescent will be sealed as a hammer head layout to retain space for turning while establishing a safety buffer between the road edge and the river bank. A footpath will also be constructed around the end of the road so pedestrians and cyclists can pass from Radley Park through to Laura Kent Reserve without crossing the road.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
