- Hours of work
- This work will be undertaken on day shifts.
- Day shift hours will be between 7am – 7pm (Monday – Saturday).
Day shift works will generally consist of:
- Roading construction, kerb installation, pavement repairs, grass berm re-shaping and associated civil works.
During all shifts:
- Bus stops will be closed and temporary bus stops set up There will be some noise disturbance
- Some on-street parking may be temporarily unavailable
- Temporary road shoulder closures will be required to undertake the work safely
Work will happen in stages and in specific locations. This means we won’t be necessary working all bus stops at once.
We plan to start work in mid May, but the start and completion date depends on the weather. We need fine weather for road surfacing and line marking. Work is expected to take two four weeks to complete.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
