There will be a glass of bubbles and some canapes in the upstairs bar at Lumière Cinemas at 6pm, followed by a private showing of the movie How to Be a Good Wife (La bonne épouse).

This is a French comedy-drama starring Juliette Binoche and is being released in early August 2021. It is about a woman who starts to question the suppressed status of females while running a housekeeping school for teenage girls in 1968 France.

Tickets are $30, and all proceeds will go to the Friends of the Arts Centre, who support The Arts Centre. 

The screening will be in the Bernhardt Theatre which is located on the second floor, the bar is also located on the second floor.

There is full accessibility access to the theatre via a lift, which is entered from the North Quadrangle. Please can you notify us in advance on the email below if you require wheelchair space in the theatre.
