Maria Gill is known for her vibrant, child-centred, readable children’s nonfiction books. Over the last 20 years, Maria has written 60 children’s books and in 2020 received the Storylines Margaret Mahy Medal for services to children’s literature.

Her book ‘Anzac Heroes’ won the Supreme Book of the Year prize in 2016, and another 10 books are Storylines Notable Books. Click here for more information
