The Big Band Picnic is back. Check out these amazing bands on the Archery Lawn in the Botanic Gardens. An event run by the Christchurch Big Band Festival.

Bring your picnic blanket, your lawn chairs, your friends, whānau and children for what is going to be a Sunday to remember.
Twelve fabulous big bands will take the stage including the all-amazing, all-inspiring All Girl Big Band and a performance by the Christchurch Youth Jazz Orchestra.
Food, coffee and ice cream vendors will be on site.
This is a free family-friendly event from the Christchurch Big Band Festival - donations are welcome.
- 10am: Nelson Jazz Club Big Band
- 10.30am: Mainland Big Band
- 11am: Christ's College Big Band
- 11.30am: Southland Youth Jazz Band
- Midday: Papanui High School Big Band
- 12.30pm: Middleton Grange Big Band
- 1pm: Sideline Swing
- 1.30pm: Garden City Big Band
- 2pm: All Girl Big Band
- 2.30pm: Ellesmere Big Band
- 3pm: Christchurch Youth Jazz Orchestra
- 3.30pm: Cashmere High Stage Band
